Large Rear Wall Window Expansion and Multi-Panel Installation

This project involved converting a section of a rear exterior wall into a large window opening and installing a wide multi-panel vinyl window system. The work required removal of existing siding, creation of a new rough opening, installation of the window assembly, and restoration of the exterior wall finish.

The original wall section did not contain a full-size window and limited natural light into the interior space. Creating a new large opening required careful layout, controlled removal of siding and wall materials, and preparation of a clean, square rough opening to support the new window system. Because the opening spans multiple panels, alignment, structural stability, and weather sealing were critical to prevent future air or water infiltration.
